Missouri Paddlefish Snagging Trip
The 2026 Missouri snagging season went into the books with Veterans out on the river by day, pulling in paddlefish, and back at camp around the fire each night.
VFW Post 2657 and their Riders Group helped fund the trip, along with the volunteers who made it happen.

Well, our 2026 Missouri snagging season is in the books! Veterans spent their days out on the river snagging paddlefish, and their evenings back at camp around the fire.

Five Soldiers from Nebraska, Missouri, South Dakota, and Oklahoma spent the weekend chasing antelope with a bow on the prairie outside Belle Fourche.
Fishing trip
Veterans from Georgia and Missouri spent four days on Arkansas's White River learning to fly fish.
Female horseback camp
The first annual horseback riding adventure brought female Veterans from Alabama, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Missouri together for a week in the saddle.
